Exploring Blues

Blues dancing is a style of partner dancing that originally began in African American communities during the early 1900s.  Its a street dance often associated with swing dancing, but danced at slower tempos to music like Muddy Waters.  It is characterized by it’s slow controlled body movements and rich partnership connection. These classes will pick up where your beginner Blues class left off, challenging you with more advanced technique and movements and expanding your vocabulary!
